Using the MGI Data Folder

All database files created internally by MGI are stored in a folder named "MGI Data" at a website's root level. The MGI Data folder is created the first time a database-driven tag is implemented (e.g. counters, banner ads, shopping basket data, authentication databases, etc.). IMPORTANT: Since all MGI-created databases are stored in the MGI Data folder, deleting the MGI Data folder will delete all databases. Be careful! Databases that are created by the user via the mgiEditDatabase tag are created and stored on the same file level as the page containing the mgiEditDatabase tag.
